Go to drive.google.com and sign in to the account you what to use
Click the + icon in the top left, then Folder
Name your folder
Open the folder
Click the arrow next to the folder name and select Share
Type in the email address of the person you're sharing the folder with, then click done. They will have access to everything you put in this folder.

Login to WordPress

Navigate to your WordPress login page (usually yourbusiness.com/dash)
Enter your username (firstlast) and password
Click the blue 'Log in' button

Switch to BeaverBuilder Editing Mode

When logged into your website and viewing the page you'd like to edit, click the BeaverBuilder tab
Once in editing mode, mouse over the section you'd like to change, and click the wrench icon to edit
After editing the module, click save
Publish your changes by clicking the blue 'Done' button in the top right

How to Claim and Verify Your Google Business Listing

One of the most important steps for every business is to claim (and verify) your listing on Google. It’s what shows up in the sidebar during a Google search, and it should always be kept up to date with your current address, hours, and other information. Anyone can suggest edits to these listings, and it’s much easier to manage and prevent malicious edits when you’ve claimed your listing.

First, make sure you haven't already claimed your listing:

Sign in to Google with your business email
Go to google.com and search for your business. In the sidebar that pops up with your business listing, check to see if it says Edit your business information (see screenshots below - photo on left shows a claimed listing). If it does, you've already claimed it, and you can click that link to update information or verify the listing

Sign in to Google My Business
Choose the business location you'd like to verify, then click Verify now
Depending on your type of business, you can verify by phone, mail or email

How to Export Apple Notes

There’s no easy export option for Apple Notes, but there’s a workaround: request a copy of your data. It will give you a folder with every individual note you can then use for import into another service. Here’s how to do it.

IMPORTANT NOTE: For this to work, you must have your notes in iCloud. If they're only saved locally on your iPhone or iPad, this won't work. To check for this, go to Settings on your device, tap your name/profile, then iCloud. Make sure the Notes box is checked under "Apps Using iCloud."

Your data will be prepared for download, and you'll receive an email when ready.

To access the zipped file, return to the Manage Your Data & Privacy area, and you'll see a notice on the right sidebar.

Slider: this is the collection of slides that you assign to a specific location. You must create the slider first.Slide: this is one panel that you assign to a specific slider (can be assigned to more than one slider).

Create a Fusion Slider

Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
Navigate to Fusion Slider > Add or Edit Sliders tab on the left sidebar.
Give your slider a name by entering it in the ‘Name’ field (Example: Product Testimonials).
Shortcode is usually the same as the name and allows the slider to be used as a shortcode in a page or post. (Example: product-testimonials).
Under the ‘Slider Size’ option, enter your slider’s width and height (default settings will result in average slider dimensions).
Check the ‘Full Screen Slider’ checkbox if you want it to fill the entire screen (before scrolling).
Customize other options as desired (parallax, navigation options, autoplay, slide loop, animation, etc.)
Click ‘Add Slider’ button at the very bottom to save your slider.

Create a Fusion Slide

Once you’ve created a Slider, you can now create Slides to assign to any existing Slider. Slides are where you create your and upload your content to be displayed on the Slider.

Navigate to Fusion Slider > Add or Edit Slides tab on the left sidebar.
Click the ‘Add New Slide’ button at the top of the page.
Give the slide a descriptive name (Example: John Doe Testimonial).
Enter your heading (large text), and/or captions (small text).
Choose heading/caption background color, if any (helpful if you have a busy background image).
Choose to link a button, or full slide if you want the user to click anywhere.
In the Button #1 or Button #2 box, paste the link the the slider button should go to between the quotation marks after 'fusionbutton link=.
On the right, click Featured Image and upload or choose the background image.
To assign the slide to a slider, check the box next to the slider name in the Fusion Sliders option box in the right sidebar. Any slide you create can be assigned to any slider.
Click the ‘Publish’ button to save the slide.

Edit Fusion Slider

If you want to slow down the slide time or adjust the color of the pagination circles on an existing slider, you'll click Edit underneath the slider name.

Navigate to Fusion Slider > Add or Edit Slides tab on the left sidebar.
Find the slider you want to edit on the right, and click Edit underneath.

How to Leave Feedback on a Design

We use a feedback tool that allows you to draw or comment on-screen while reviewing logo or other design files. Here's how to use it.

Open the link sent via email and you'll see the design, along with a comment bar on the right side, and toolbar across the bottom.

Draw a box to highlight areas, and switch to the comment tool to click to leave notes. You'll have to enter your name and email the first time you interact with the design (so we know who's leaving the feedback).

Leave descriptive feedback on the proofs, especially if viewing/choosing between multiple options. We will have the ability to reply directly to your comments to confirm details.

The system will notify us when comments are left on a design, but we recommend sending an email to contact@cyclonepress.com when you're completely done leaving feedback, so we know it's ok to proceed to the next phase of the design.

To Switch Between Versions

In the bottom left corner, you'll see a Version 1 of X button. Click this to switch between versions (for example, round 1, round 2, and round 3 of a logo).

How to Add and Remove Pages from WordPress Menu

The menu is the collection of navigation links in your website header, footer, or sidebars. You can have multiple menus (Main Menu in the header, Services Menu in the sidebar, for example). Here’s how to add and remove pages from your menus.

Please note: removing a page from the menu only removes it from the navigation. It does not delete or unpublish the page itself. If someone has a direct link, they can still access the page.

How to Add a Page to the Menu:

Under Pages, select the checkbox of the page(s) you want to add to the menu
Click Add to Menu
Under Menu Structure on the right, click and drag to reorder the pages
If you want a page to be a submenu dropdown, nest it underneath one of the upper level pages

How to Remove a Page from the Menu:

Under Menu Structure on the right, click the arrow on the page you want to remove
Click Remove on the bottom left

How to Grant Access to Your Mailchimp Account

In order to connect your Mailchimp account to your website or set up other integrations or emails, you'll need to grant us agency access. Here's how to do it.

We will submit a request from our Mailchimp account. This request will send an email to the address associated with the owner of your account.

To view and accept a request to connect accounts, follow these steps.

In your email client, open the agency access request email.
Click View Request.
Log in to the Mailchimp account you want the agency or freelancer to access.
Choose a maximum level of access for the entire agency. The level of access can limit what we can do in your account (Manager level access can create and edit campaigns but can’t access billing information).
Click Grant Access.

That’s it! We’ll receive a notication that access has been granted, and we'll be able to set up your website integrations and any other requests you might have in Mailchimp.

How to Mass Rename Files on a Mac

Sometimes you’ll have a folder of photos you’ll want to rename before upload to your website (portfolio-type-original name.jpg). Believe it or not, but there’s an easy way to do this already built in to the Mac desktop. Here’s how to use it.

How to Mass Rename Files on a Mac

Open the folder of images you want to rename. Let's say they're all named something like image02931.jpg.
Click anywhere in the folder, then ⌘+A to Select All files.
With the entire folder still selected, go to File > Rename _ Items
Change the dropdown to 'Add Text'
Type in the text you want to add (portfolio-portrait-)
Make sure the second dropdown says "before name". The final name will show underneath so you can confirm it's set up the way you want.
Click Rename.

Every photo in your folder will now begin with portfolio-portrait, so all names will look like portfolio-portrait-image02931.jpg.

How to Add Custom Email Signature to Apple iPhone or iPad

If you have a custom email signature in Gmail or Apple Mail, you'll also want to set it up on your mobile devices. Here's how.

Send yourself an email from the account with the custom email signature
Open that email on your iPhone or iPad
Select the entire email signature
Open Settings > Mail
Scroll down and select 'Signature'
If you have more than one email account, this should be set to 'Per Account'
Select the box for the appropriate email, tap, hold, then hit 'Paste'
Physically shake your phone (yes, really)
Tap 'Undo' (to restore custom formatting)

That's it. Send an email from that specific account and it will now display your custom signature. If you make any changes to the original signature, you'll have to repeat this process.
