Most pages on your website will be built using BeaverBuilder. Here's how to login, access the editor, edit or add a module, and revert to a previous version. There's also a quick note about the WordPress block editor, which is occasionally used as well.

Login to WordPress

Navigate to your WordPress login page (usually yourbusiness.com/dash)
Enter your username (firstlast) and password
Click the blue 'Log in' button

Switch to BeaverBuilder Editing Mode

When logged into your website and viewing the page you'd like to edit, click the BeaverBuilder tab
Once in editing mode, mouse over the section you'd like to change, and click the wrench icon to edit
After editing the module, click save
Publish your changes by clicking the blue 'Done' button in the top right

You'll follow this process:

Click the feedback icon button
Click Request an update
Click an icon to choose your preferred feedback method (type in comment, draw on screen, record video, upload attachment)
Describe your requests (then click 'Next' if necessary)
Enter your email
Title your task
Describe the task (optional)
Click the 'Send Feedback' button
Repeat as needed

Detailed Instructions

While viewing the website, click the feedback icon on the side of your browser window (usually in the bottom right corner). It will be either gray or in your brand colors.

Click 'Request an update'.

At this point, you can complete the form for the simplest method of requesting an update. However, there are 3 additional request methods:

Click the box icon to draw on the screen (this is best for highlighting specific areas you'd like to change. See instructions for Using the Annotation Tool below).
If you have a webcam, click the camera icon to record a video describing your request (you can also draw on screen).
Click the paperclip icon to upload an attachment (if you already saved and annotated a screenshot, for example).

IMPORTANT: your requests are not submitted until you enter your email and click 'Send Feedback.' Do not click away until you've completed this step.

After submission, your requests will be dropped directly into our project management system and we will be notified.

Using the Annotation Tool

Click and/or drag your mouse to draw on the screen with the following tools. There's a tiny help (question mark) icon to the left you can click on to watch a video of how to use this tool. You can submit another screenshot for the same page after clicking 'Next.'

Tool Functions:

Box - Highlight a specific area of the page.
Pencil - Draw anything you like – circle, point, etc. Works great with a touch screen and pen.
Line - Underline, strikethrough, draw a straight line.
Arrow - Point to a specific area or element.
Blockout - Blocks out any sensitive information on the screen.
Text - click your mouse to drop a pin and add a text comment anywhere on the page.
Color - change color of drawing elements

Once you’ve finished annotating your screenshot, click the Next button to continue to the next step in the widget. If you'd like to add an additional screenshot (for example, if you need to request changes that require scrolling further down the page), click the + icon next to your screenshot to add another screenshot to the same submission.

Do not forget to click 'Send Feedback' after annotating screenshots.

Note:

If your website is currently in development, you might see a 'View Other Feedback' option that allows you to see comments you or your collaborators have already submitted.

How to Generate Google reCAPTCHA Keys

If you want to use reCAPTCHA to prevent spam on your website, you'll need to create Google keys. Here's how to set up the account and add us, so we can generate those keys for your website (this is how you add the "I'm Not a Robot" checkbox, although you can select 'Invisible to bypass that).

Go to Google reCAPTCHA admin.
Login with your business Google account
Click + in the top right to register a new site
Enter your url (yourbusiness.com) as the label
Select Challenge (v2)
Choose either Robot or Invisible
Add a domain and enter your website URL (yourbusiness.com)
Hit Submit
Go to Settings, and add sarah@cyclonepress.com as an account owner

At this point, we can generate the keys needed to add to your website.

How to Create and Set a New Home Page in WordPress

Let's say you want to update your home page by making a copy of your current home page, working on it in the background, then updating when ready. This is how to do that.

Duplicate your home page using the recommended method for your particular setup.
Update this page until you're happy with it, then save.
Change the home page using one of two methods below.

Option 1: Set the Home Page from Settings

Go to Settings → Reading in the left sidebar of your site dashboard.
Next to the label 'Your homepage displays,' and under the radio button that says 'A static page', you'll see the current home page in the dropdown:
Change the dropdown to your new home page.
Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

If you frequently work in the customizer, you can also use the method below. These are just two different ways to access the same settings.

Option 2: Set the Home Page from the Customizer

Go to Appearance → Customize.
Select Homepage Settings.
Under 'A static page' select the dropdown and choose your new page as the front page for your site.
Click Save Changes.

How to Delegate URL Access in Namecheap

Click here to sign into your Namecheap account (The Sign In option is available in the header of the page).
Select Domain List from the left sidebar and click on the Manage option in front of the domain name you would like to share access for:

Choose the Sharing & Transfer tab from the top menu and find the Share Access section. Input the new manager's Namecheap username: cyclonepress and click Add:

Check the box for Services and Advanced DNS.

Enter your account password in the appropriate field to confirm that you wish to share access to these settings with your new domain manager:

Please note that the destination account user has an option to enable an additional security feature. If it's enabled, the access to domains will be given right away after the Share Access option is used.

Otherwise, an email invitation to become a manager of a domain will be sent to the email address associated with the destination Namecheap account. Only after the user clicks the confirmation link in that email, he/she will be able to access a domain.

Once the invitation is accepted, the destination user will see the domain but will be able to use only the rights you have provided him/her with.

From the WordPress Dashboard:

Products > Add New
Type in Product Title
Add product description in the large text box, if desired (this shows up on the bottom of the product page)
Under 'Product Data (Simple Product),' add product price
Add 'Product short description,' if desired (this shows up underneath the title on the product page)
Click 'Add product image' and upload image or select from Media Library
Under 'Product gallery' add additional images if desired (will show as thumbnail images under the main image on the product page)
Under 'Product categories' check the appropriate boxes to assign this product to different product pages
Under 'Product tags' add additional, specific sorting options, if desired
Click 'Publish'

Navigate to your WordPress dashboard and log in (this is usually yourbusiness.com/wp-login)
On the left sidebar, click Users > Add New
Enter the following credentials below:

Username: cyclonepress
Email: support@cyclonepress.com
First Name: Sarah
Last Name: Schumacher
Website: https://www.cyclonepress.com

Ignore the password field - once you hit 'Add User' we will receive a notification email with a link to reset the password.
Leave "Send User Notification" checked
Click Role dropdown and change to Administrator (this is important: without Administrator access we won't be able to access any of the admin settings on your website).

Once we receive the email with login information/reset password link, we'll be able to administer your account for maintenance, or make design changes as needed.

How to set up a Google Cloud billing account (for Google Map)

In order to get a stylized Google map to work on your website, you have to add your credit card to Google Cloud. Under a certain number of impressions they won’t bill for it, but if no card is on file the map on your website will display a warning.

How to View Website Form Submission (GravityForms)

Website contact form submissions will automatically be emailed, but you can always log in to your website to view all entries for any form. Here’s how.

Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
On the left sidebar, select Forms > Entries.
Click the dropdown to switch to the form entries you'd like to view.
Scroll down to view all entries.
Mouse over the first column and you'll see several options appear underneath. Click 'View' to view the entry.
If you have the option installed, you may also see an option to "Save as PDF.'

Under Forms, click Import/Export
Click the dropdown to Select a Form
Check 'Select All' to select all fields
Scroll down and select your desired date range
Click 'Download Export File' and choose where to save file
