How to Create a Google Workspace Email Account

Note: If you'd rather not go through this process yourself, we can do this for you and call for credit card information when we get to Step 13. Google provides free 14 day trials, but unfortunately we can't get to the technical setup without credit card information first.

Open this link
Click the 'Get Started' button under the Business Starter plan
Complete business detail section
Add your contact information (this will be the superadmin on the account)
When it asks if you have a domain name, select 'Yes, I have one I can use'
Enter your domain name without https://www
Confirm the domain is typed correctly, and click 'Next'
Choose if you'd like to receive tip emails
Choose your email address and password, then prove you aren't a robot and click 'Agree and Continue'
Sign into Google with the email and password you just created (you may need to add your phone for a security code)
Accept the terms
Add the promotion code we've provided and click 'Next'
Enter your billing address and credit card information
You'll receive a notification your account has been created. Click 'Continue to setup'
When you see the following screen, it's time for us to take over.

Send us the login email and password and we'll log in and complete the technical setup to connect your domain, set up redirects and aliases and test everything.

How to Add Custom Email Signature to Apple iPhone or iPad

Accepted Answer

If you have a custom email signature in Gmail or Apple Mail, you'll also want to set it up on your mobile devices. Here's how.

Send yourself an email from the account with the custom email signature
Open that email on your iPhone or iPad
Select the entire email signature
Open Settings > Mail
Scroll down and select 'Signature'
If you have more than one email account, this should be set to 'Per Account'
Select the box for the appropriate email, tap, hold, then hit 'Paste'
Physically shake your phone (yes, really)
Tap 'Undo' (to restore custom formatting)

That's it. Send an email from that specific account and it will now display your custom signature. If you make any changes to the original signature, you'll have to repeat this process.

How to add G Suite email to Apple Mail and iPhone

Accepted Answer

A G Suite account is a paid version of Gmail that allows you to use your own domain (you@yourbusiness.com). It also comes with additional features. If you're the owner/admin, you'll have access to all account-wide settings at admin.google.com and the ability to add other users, if needed.

The setup process on a phone or laptop is the same as signing into a free Gmail account.

To add a G Suite Account to Apple Mail:

Open Apple Mail
Mail > Add Account
Select Google and click Continue
Follow the prompts, and sign in using your G Suite email and password (yourname@yourdomain.com, not @gmail.com)

To add a G Suite Account to iPhone:

Open Settings
General > Passwords & Accounts > Add Account
Select Google, then sign in using your G Suite email and password (yourname@yourdomain.com, not @gmail.com)

How to change your email password (IMAP)

If you want to change the password for your email, you’ll need to change it on the server, which means logging into webmail. Here’s how to do that. If you plan to change the default password we used when setting up your account, you'll want to do that before setting email up on your devices.

Webmail (Browser Login):

You can check your email in any browser at any time by going to https://www.yourbusiness.com/webmail (or https://webmail.emailsrvr.com). This is also where you can add your phone number for security, change your password, and set up auto-responses.

To Change Your Password:

Log in to https://apps.rackspace.com
Click the hamburger menu in top right (3 stacked lines)
Click Settings
Click Change Password
Enter the password we sent in your setup email
Enter your new password
Confirm new password
Save

How to set up email on Apple Mail

Please note: if you plan to change the default password we used when setting up your account, make sure to do that before setting email up on your devices so you don’t have to re-enter it. See this help article for how to change your email password.

There are two ways to set up your email account.

Option 1: Automatic Configuration Tool:

Log in to the email Support Center
Enter email and password > Log In
Click “Configure” across the top
Select your device
Follow the prompts (always choose IMAP)

If this doesn't work on your computer, or you prefer to set up manually, use the settings below.

Option 2: Manual Setup:

Open Apple Mail
Mail > Add Account
Other Mail Account...
Continue
Enter your full name, email address, and password
Sign in
Fill out all fields, using secure.emailsrvr.com as both incoming and outgoing email server
Sign in
Select the apps you want to use with this account (Notes are if you want to sync Apple Notes on your iPhone with your Mail inbox)
