Most pages on your website will be built using BeaverBuilder. Here's how to login, access the editor, edit or add a module, and revert to a previous version. There's also a quick note about the WordPress block editor, which is occasionally used as well.

Login to WordPress

Navigate to your WordPress login page (usually yourbusiness.com/dash)
Enter your username (firstlast) and password
Click the blue 'Log in' button

Switch to BeaverBuilder Editing Mode

When logged into your website and viewing the page you'd like to edit, click the BeaverBuilder tab
Once in editing mode, mouse over the section you'd like to change, and click the wrench icon to edit
After editing the module, click save
Publish your changes by clicking the blue 'Done' button in the top right

Navigate to the specific page or post, and find the Post SEO Settings window Select the Visibility tab and change the settings to the following: Indexing: noindex

You'll follow this process:

Click the feedback icon button
Click Request an update
Click an icon to choose your preferred feedback method (type in comment, draw on screen, record video, upload attachment)
Describe your requests (then click 'Next' if necessary)
Enter your email
Title your task
Describe the task (optional)
Click the 'Send Feedback' button
Repeat as needed

Detailed Instructions

While viewing the website, click the feedback icon on the side of your browser window (usually in the bottom right corner). It will be either gray or in your brand colors.

Click 'Request an update'.

At this point, you can complete the form for the simplest method of requesting an update. However, there are 3 additional request methods:

Click the box icon to draw on the screen (this is best for highlighting specific areas you'd like to change. See instructions for Using the Annotation Tool below).
If you have a webcam, click the camera icon to record a video describing your request (you can also draw on screen).
Click the paperclip icon to upload an attachment (if you already saved and annotated a screenshot, for example).

IMPORTANT: your requests are not submitted until you enter your email and click 'Send Feedback.' Do not click away until you've completed this step.

After submission, your requests will be dropped directly into our project management system and we will be notified.

Using the Annotation Tool

Click and/or drag your mouse to draw on the screen with the following tools. There's a tiny help (question mark) icon to the left you can click on to watch a video of how to use this tool. You can submit another screenshot for the same page after clicking 'Next.'

Tool Functions:

Box - Highlight a specific area of the page.
Pencil - Draw anything you like – circle, point, etc. Works great with a touch screen and pen.
Line - Underline, strikethrough, draw a straight line.
Arrow - Point to a specific area or element.
Blockout - Blocks out any sensitive information on the screen.
Text - click your mouse to drop a pin and add a text comment anywhere on the page.
Color - change color of drawing elements

Once you’ve finished annotating your screenshot, click the Next button to continue to the next step in the widget. If you'd like to add an additional screenshot (for example, if you need to request changes that require scrolling further down the page), click the + icon next to your screenshot to add another screenshot to the same submission.

Do not forget to click 'Send Feedback' after annotating screenshots.

Note:

If your website is currently in development, you might see a 'View Other Feedback' option that allows you to see comments you or your collaborators have already submitted.

How to Create and Set a New Home Page in WordPress

Let's say you want to update your home page by making a copy of your current home page, working on it in the background, then updating when ready. This is how to do that.

Duplicate your home page using the recommended method for your particular setup.
Update this page until you're happy with it, then save.
Change the home page using one of two methods below.

Option 1: Set the Home Page from Settings

Go to Settings → Reading in the left sidebar of your site dashboard.
Next to the label 'Your homepage displays,' and under the radio button that says 'A static page', you'll see the current home page in the dropdown:
Change the dropdown to your new home page.
Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

If you frequently work in the customizer, you can also use the method below. These are just two different ways to access the same settings.

Option 2: Set the Home Page from the Customizer

Go to Appearance → Customize.
Select Homepage Settings.
Under 'A static page' select the dropdown and choose your new page as the front page for your site.
Click Save Changes.

Under 'Product Data (Simple Product),' add product price

Click 'Add product image' and upload image or select from Media Library
Under 'Product gallery' add additional images if desired (will show as thumbnail images under the main image on the product page)
Under 'Product categories' check the appropriate boxes to assign this product to different product pages

Navigate to your WordPress dashboard and log in (this is usually yourbusiness.com/wp-login)
On the left sidebar, click Users > Add New
Enter the following credentials below:

Username: cyclonepress
Email: support@cyclonepress.com
First Name: Sarah
Last Name: Schumacher
Website: https://www.cyclonepress.com

Ignore the password field - once you hit 'Add User' we will receive a notification email with a link to reset the password.
Leave "Send User Notification" checked
Click Role dropdown and change to Administrator (this is important: without Administrator access we won't be able to access any of the admin settings on your website).

Once we receive the email with login information/reset password link, we'll be able to administer your account for maintenance, or make design changes as needed.

Caching is when your website stores a saved version of the web page to speed up loading times. If you make changes to that page, sometimes you’ll still see the cached version. When updating a page or post, it’s best to always clear the cache. If you're experiencing issues with updates, always try clearing the cache first to see if that fixes the problem.

From the WordPress Page or Post:

While logged in to WordPress, create a new page or open an existing page and click the Beaver Builder tab.

From the All Pages List:

Mouse over a page in the Pages > All Pages list, then click the Beaver Builder link.

Tip: When a Beaver Builder layout already exists for a page, the Beaver Builder link is followed by a green button, as you can see in the screenshot. When a Beaver Builder layout hasn't been created yet, it's followed by a pale gray or white button.

From the WordPress Admin Bar:

If you're viewing a page or post and you're logged in, the WordPress admin bar appears across the top. Click the Beaver Builder link to edit the page.

When a Beaver Builder layout already exists for the page, the Beaver Builder link is followed by a green button, as you can see in the screenshot. When a Beaver Builder layout hasn't been created yet, it's followed by a pale gray button.

Slider: this is the collection of slides that you assign to a specific location. You must create the slider first.Slide: this is one panel that you assign to a specific slider (can be assigned to more than one slider).

Create a Fusion Slider

Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
Navigate to Fusion Slider > Add or Edit Sliders tab on the left sidebar.
Give your slider a name by entering it in the ‘Name’ field (Example: Product Testimonials).
Shortcode is usually the same as the name and allows the slider to be used as a shortcode in a page or post. (Example: product-testimonials).
Under the ‘Slider Size’ option, enter your slider’s width and height (default settings will result in average slider dimensions).
Check the ‘Full Screen Slider’ checkbox if you want it to fill the entire screen (before scrolling).
Customize other options as desired (parallax, navigation options, autoplay, slide loop, animation, etc.)
Click ‘Add Slider’ button at the very bottom to save your slider.

Create a Fusion Slide

Once you’ve created a Slider, you can now create Slides to assign to any existing Slider. Slides are where you create your and upload your content to be displayed on the Slider.

Navigate to Fusion Slider > Add or Edit Slides tab on the left sidebar.
Click the ‘Add New Slide’ button at the top of the page.
Give the slide a descriptive name (Example: John Doe Testimonial).
Enter your heading (large text), and/or captions (small text).
Choose heading/caption background color, if any (helpful if you have a busy background image).
Choose to link a button, or full slide if you want the user to click anywhere.
In the Button #1 or Button #2 box, paste the link the the slider button should go to between the quotation marks after 'fusionbutton link=.
On the right, click Featured Image and upload or choose the background image.
To assign the slide to a slider, check the box next to the slider name in the Fusion Sliders option box in the right sidebar. Any slide you create can be assigned to any slider.
Click the ‘Publish’ button to save the slide.

Edit Fusion Slider

If you want to slow down the slide time or adjust the color of the pagination circles on an existing slider, you'll click Edit underneath the slider name.

Navigate to Fusion Slider > Add or Edit Slides tab on the left sidebar.
Find the slider you want to edit on the right, and click Edit underneath.
Make your changes to the height, slide time, etc. then scroll down and click Save.

The menu is the collection of navigation links in your website header, footer, or sidebars. You can have multiple menus (Main Menu in the header, Services Menu in the sidebar, for example). Here’s how to add and remove pages from your menus.

Please note: removing a page from the menu only removes it from the navigation. It does not delete or unpublish the page itself. If someone has a direct link, they can still access the page.

How to Add a Page to the Menu:

Under Pages, select the checkbox of the page(s) you want to add to the menu
Click Add to Menu
Under Menu Structure on the right, click and drag to reorder the pages
If you want a page to be a submenu dropdown, nest it underneath one of the upper level pages

How to Remove a Page from the Menu:

Under Menu Structure on the right, click the arrow on the page you want to remove
Click Remove on the bottom left
