How to Create a Shared Google Drive Folder

The best way to share large files (or a collection of files) is with Google Drive or Dropbox. Creating a folder on one of these services is creating it “in the cloud” so it can shared with an accessed by others.

How to Create a Shared Google Drive Folder

  1. Go to drive.google.com and sign in to the account you what to use
  2. Click the + icon in the top left, then Folder

  1. Name your folder
  2. Open the folder
  3. Click the arrow next to the folder name and select Share

  1. Type in the email address of the person you're sharing the folder with, then click done. They will have access to everything you put in this folder.
